Your straw is dishwasher safe. Just place it in with your other utensils, double-checking to make sure it won't fall through the grid. For your lid: Remove silicone ring inside the rim, wash separately to ensure that you remove all food particles & dry immediately after washing. Never remove the center grommet (where the straw goes through), as it will damage the lid and can be sharp.
